"Race to the Top"

Does anyone know anything about this/go to MEA meetings? I don't belong to MEA. Is it because it is not "finished"? Or does MEA have other issues with it?

    I do now that one of MEA's biggest reasons for not supporting it is that they want to tie teachers evaluatins with students progress. This to me is not good because I can think of many former and present studnets who you could not get to do any thing no matter what you tried to do.
